Broken Screen Prank
A convincing cracked display that costs nothing to fix. Each crack pattern is generated fresh, and every click adds another impact.
Click anywhere on the screen to add another crack. Press Esc to exit full screen.
How to do the cracked screen prank
- Open this page on the device you want to "break".
- Click where the impact should be. One crack near a corner looks more believable than five.
- Choose Black so the screen looks switched off and damaged, or Desktop blue so it looks like a working screen with broken glass.
- Press Fullscreen and hand the device back, or leave it on the desk.
Making it believable
- Real cracks start from a single impact point and spread outwards, usually from an edge or corner. Click near the bezel.
- On a phone, turn the brightness down. Real cracks do not glow.
- Have a story ready: "It slipped off the table."
Be fair to your victim
A broken screen means an expensive repair, so the shock is real. Reveal it within seconds, and do not use it on someone who is already having a bad day or on a device they depend on for work. Never use a fake damage picture to claim a refund, insurance or compensation; that is fraud.
