How to do the hair prank
- Open this page on their phone, tablet or laptop.
- Pick a hair colour that matches someone in the house, so it looks plausible.
- Choose a background: white or light grey suits a document or chat app; desktop blue looks like a computer desktop.
- Press Fullscreen and hand it back.
- Enjoy the wiping. Reveal it before they start cleaning the screen with anything wet.
Making it convincing
- One hair is more believable than three.
- On a phone, turn the brightness down slightly. Real hairs cast a faint shadow that's hard to judge on a bright screen.
- Lock the phone's screen rotation, so the picture doesn't flip when they tilt it to look closer.

Does the hair prank work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in the phone's browser. Full screen works on Android; on iPhone, hide the browser bars by scrolling slightly or adding the page to the home screen.
Why does the hair move when I touch it?
That's deliberate. Each touch nudges it a little, so it feels like a real hair that won't come off.
Can I get a different hair?
Yes. Press New hair for a new shape and position, and change the colour from the menu.
