The six styles

How to use it
- Type or paste your text in the box.
- All six versions update as you type.
- Move the Glitch level slider to make the glitch text calmer or wilder.
- Press Copy next to the one you want and paste it anywhere.
Where hacker text works, and where it does not
The leet and alternating styles use ordinary keyboard characters, so they work everywhere. Monospace, wide and glitch text use special Unicode characters. Most modern apps display them, but there are limits worth knowing:
- Some sites strip or block unusual characters in usernames.
- Heavy glitch text can overlap the lines above and below it. Keep the level low in chats.
- Screen readers may read special characters badly or skip them, so avoid them for anything people need to understand.
- Do not use leet substitutions as a password trick. Swapping a for 4 is one of the first things password-guessing tools try.
