By using hackertyper.app ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site provides
The site offers free entertainment tools that simulate the appearance of programming or hacking, plus related articles. The tools are visual simulations only and have no ability to access other systems.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the tools for personal entertainment, pranks among willing friends, education, and as a visual element in videos, streams, presentations and productions. You agree not to:
- use the site to harass, threaten, intimidate or defraud anyone, or to make someone believe a real security breach has occurred in order to obtain money, information or any other advantage;
- impersonate an IT department, company, bank, government body or law enforcement using the tools;
- attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or overload it with automated requests;
- copy the site wholesale and republish it as your own.
3. Content and ownership
The site's design, text and original code are owned by hackertyper.app. The sample source code displayed by the classic Hacker Typer is derived from the Linux kernel, which is published by its authors under the GNU General Public License version 2. You are welcome to record or screenshot the tools for your own content.
4. Advertising and third-party services
The site displays advertising and may offer optional browser push notifications delivered by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party advertisements or the sites they link to. See the privacy policy.
5. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, hackertyper.app is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including consequences of pranks you choose to carry out. You are responsible for how you use the tools.
7. Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
